Abstract | O artigo propõe o Bioma Panamazônia com base nos atributos de Sensoriamento Remoto referentes aos bosques amazônicos da América do Sul. Os atributos que envolvem também as águas, queimadas e os desflorestamentos foram extraídos através da aplicação do MLME-Modelo Linear de Mistura Espectral em imagens MODIS. As análises seguem procedimentos digitais de foto-interpretação com base em aspectos radiométricos e espectrais da fração sombra. Os aspectos exclusivos dos bosques foram mapeados em imagens MODIS dotadas da acurácia cartográfica fornecida pelo Mosaico NASA-GEOCOVER. O mapeamento regional dos bosques permite então propor o Bioma Panamazônia bem como as áreas de distribuição em cada país. O conteúdo deste artigo agrega conhecimentos técnico-científicos carreados para o Projeto Panamazônia por investigadores transnacionais a partir de 1994 . Estes pré-conhecimentos são descritos brevemente realçando-se o papel agregador da OTCA-Organização do Tratado Cooperação Amazônica. ABSTRACT: The article proposes the Panamazonia Biome based on Remote Sensing attributes of South America Amazonian forestry. Other themes such as waters, burns and deforestation are also analyzed. Such themes were extracted through the use of MLME-Linear Spectral Mixture Model applied to MODIS frames. The images were improved to a better cartographic accuracy by means of GEOCOVERNASA Mosaic. The digital analysis was done by photointerpretation of radiometric and spectral aspects of the shadow fraction. The exclusive aspects of forestry were separated at regional level and so the Panamazonia Biome was designed and measured by every country. The article aggregates value-added scientific knowledge brought up to the Panamazonia Project since 1994 by trans-national investigators of South America. The assembled knowledge is here briefly attempted. The unique role to unify the regional agencies undertaken by the OTCA-Organization for the Amazonian Cooperation Treatment is emphasized as well. |
